Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003

Dear Customer/Supplier, the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003), under art. 13 sets forth the obligation to inform the data subject about the basic principles of personal data processing, with specific reference under subsection 1, lett. a/f as regards verifications and information concerning regulations:
The undersigned Authority fully complies with the above mentioned code and informs you as follows:

A1) The data are collected for the following purposes:
· execution of the obligations resulting from a contract in which the data subject is a contracting party or to comply, before the execution of the contract, with specific requests on the part of the data subject;
· fulfilment of statutory requirements, regulations, Community legislation, customer relations management (customer administration, contract administration, orders, shipments and invoices, supervision of credit worthiness and solvency);
· management of suppliers (administration of suppliers, administration of contracts, orders, arrivals, invoices, selection in relation to the company requirements);
· management of litigations (contractual defaults, warnings, transactions, recovery of debts, arbitrations, judicial matters);
· forwarding of advertising material and promotional activities

A2) in relation to the above mentioned purposes, the personal data shall be processed through the following means:
in hard copy form, computer and telematic means;

A3) this information is supplied for the data:
· directly collected from the concerned data subject (art. 13, c.1);
· from third parties (art. 13, c. 4);
· public registers, directories, deeds or documents the contents of which can be accessed by anyone (art. 24, c. 1, letter c) within the limits and in the manners set forth by the regulations concerning the accessibility thereof;

B) data transmission is:
· mandatory by law, regulations, community legislation;
· it influences the possibility of efficient fulfilment of the contractual obligations that have been undertaken; - optional for the purpose of: execution of market research;
distribution of advertising material; carrying out of promotional activities;

C) refusal by the data subject to submit the data negates the agency the possibility to:
· fulfil the contract;
· carry out the contractual obligations that have been undertaken;
· forward material for promotional activities;

D1) the above mentioned data: can be only transmitted to the following data subjects:
· post offices or other correspondence agencies; banks and credit institutions, law firms;
· insurance companies;
· information technology equipment maintenance/repair agencies; professional offices and/or companies and/or associations and contractors providing specific accounting and/or fiscal services to the Authority, occupational health and safety;

D2) they can be:
· transferred, disseminated in Italy>

D3) the following data subjects can acquire knowledge of the data:
· executives, directors and auditors;
· internal registries and secretarial offices; personnel department employees; data processing centre personnel;
· the personnel in charge of maintenance and/or repair of information technology equipment;
· the personnel in charge of surveys and supply of services;
· the personnel in charge of accounting and invoicing; self-employed persons;
· the personnel engaged for a project, temporary workers; company consultants.

E) Pursuant to art 7 of the Italian Civil Code, in addition to the information set out herein, the data subject has the right to:
- receive confirmation, in an intelligible and gratuitous manner, of the existence or non-existence of his data at our company
· receive the latest updates, rectification or integration of the data or blocking/erasure thereof due to a breach of law or if the data need no longer be stored
· to object to data processing due to legal reasons or for sending advertising material, direct sale, market surveys, commercial communications.

F) The Data Controller is the Authority, represented by the vice-president Mr. Gianfranco Pizzolitto;
G) The person in charge of data processing is Mr. Sergio Signore, Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. A copy of this information note can be viewed at the offices of the Authority and by visiting the website


Collection and processing of personally identifiable information:
certain information is automatically transmitted to our web servers for technical reasons whenever you access our website.
